Emphasizing the the 3 principles of Sikhi as perscribed by Guru Nanak<\/a>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Naam Japo<\/a>: The Guru led the Sikhs directly to practice Simran<\/a> and Naam Japo<\/a>\u2014meditation on God and reciting and chanting of God’s Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Kirat Karo<\/a>: He asked the Sikhs to live as householders and practice Kirat Karo<\/a>: to honestly earn, with hard work, by one’s physical and mental effort, while accepting God’s gifts and blessing. One is to speak the truth at all times. Live a life of decency, high moral values and spirituality.[2]<\/a><\/sup>[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Va\u1e47\u1e0d Chakk\u014d<\/a>: The Sikhs were asked to share (the food, Wealth etc.) with everyone, Irrespective of caste, creed, color or sexuality by practising Va\u1e47\u1e0d Chakk\u014d<\/a>\u2014\u201cShare and Consume together\u201d.
